An all-star cast head to a resort and unleash their worst, most privileged impulses. The series is a sharp social satire following the exploits of various guests and employees of the fictional White Lotus resort chain, whose stay becomes affected by their various dysfunctions. A week in the life of vacationers is unravelled as they relax and rejuvenate in paradise. With each passing day, a darker complexity emerges in these picture-perfect travelers, the hotel's cheerful employees, and the idyllic locale itself.

Darker and more patient with its storytelling than previous seasons while brandishing a superb new ensemble full of acidic performances, The White Lotus' third season offers a spiritual respite that shivs the soul.

Sarah Manavis New Statesman Viewers can continue to tell themselves they are getting something out of watching privileged characters in paradise having a less than perfect time, but it’s increasingly difficult to say that it is anything close to good. Mar 27, 2025 Full Review Phillip Maciak The New Republic Several screener episodes in, I’m hoping it never blows up, that it stays at this exquisite simmer, but, as White keeps visually suggesting, the tsunami is on its way. Mar 5, 2025 Full Review Inkoo Kang The New Yorker There’s something similar at work in the third season, a promiscuous application of the formula that yields diminishing returns. It isn’t just the characters who seem a bit lost in Thailand; White does, too. Feb 22, 2025 Full Review Emily Baker iNews.co.uk The third season of Mike White's satire is largely the same as its predecessors - but that's no bad thing. Rated: 4/5 Mar 17, 2025 Full Review Alison Gillmor Winnipeg Free Press While this well-crafted show remains an often intelligent, unsparing dissection of the dynamics of wealth, fame and power, it also — at this point — relies on a familiar, even formulaic frame that needs to be pepped up by guest stars. Mar 12, 2025 Full Review Chris Revelle Pajiba Sadly, like it’s done twice before, White Lotus merely gestures at critiques that mainly amount to “these rich tourists sure are shallow.” Mar 3, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Alan W Trite and banal. Definitely the least funny comedy I have forced myself to sit through (one episode) with a grade school script and awkward, unbelievable characters. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/03/25 Full Review JOSEPH O Seems to be somewhat slower this season than in the past. Acting, for the most part, is good, especially Parker Posey, and Leslie Bibb - PP for her hilarious accent, and LB for great facial expressions (didn't need her to say anything sometimes, the expression was enough). Location: preferred Hawaii, and Italy to Thailand. Just thought season 1, and 2 (so far) were better. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review peggy s Not liking this season. I was so worried that it would not be as good as previous seasons. Alas! I think they have jumped the shark.... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Bartosz W It's just boring versus previous seasons. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Richard H I absolutely loved season 1 and 2 but this is season is painful. Each episode, I sit there looking at the clock wondering when it will end because literally nothing happens. The dad pops another pill, the girl with big teeth talks about loving her boyfriend, her boyfriend trots off to try to find his dead dad that nobody cares about, Tanya's ex-husband is here for the ride and the 3 neurotic women talk passive aggressively to each other over a glass of wine. This is the storyline for literally every episode. Season 3 is a hodge-podge, random mess of ideas that go nowhere, tell no story and leave us all wondering what the hell happened here. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review susan S The first four episodes of season 3 were very good. The narrative of each group of characters was interesting and the storylines were coming together. It began to move very slow in episodes 5 and 6. In fact, They could of been combined into one episode. I kept waiting for some great crescendo that never happened. I'm hoping for a great finale to save the entire season. It would be disappointing if the writers of the White Lotus have lost their mojo. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/02/25 Full Review Read all reviews
